The Book Thief by Markus Zusak.

I recommend this book for an older audience.  This book is good for girls and boys.
The story is about Liesel in World War 2 and her mother dumps her with the Hubbermans and she finds something or someone in her basement.  Liesel is a book thief and she has to keep a huge secret she can't even tell her best friend Rudy. I really enjoyed the book because it had a lot of suspense in it and I couldn't put the book down until I got to the end.
