Out Of My Mind
Out of my mind
By Sharon M Draper
Out of my mind is a novel pointing to kids, teens and adults. An eleven year old girl named Melody has a photographic memory. She is the smartest girl in school but no one knows it. Because. She can't walk. She can't talk. She can't write. She can't feed herself. She can't take herself to the bathroom. She is strapped to a wheelchair. And being stuck inside her head is making Melody go out of her mind. But at last Melody has a voice.
This book is by far one of my favourites and best books I have read. Not only did the important message teach me to think differently, it shows the feelings and life of someone who isn't as lucky as I am. 5/5!!!
Wonder- R.J Palacio

Hiding behind his perfect white picket fence. How could he ever face school looking like he does? His Family will happily pretend that he's an average ten year old boy but his family are his family and they're definitely not going to be like the girls and boys at school.

The Fault in Our Stars- John Green

This is a story of love, pain, and death.
This is a story that can't be read without breaking down and cry, or at least wanting to.
John Green

The Kill Order By James Dashner
The Kill Order:
The Kill Order is a dystopian science fiction novel written by the best-selling author, James Dashner.
This book is the amazing prequel to the 'The Maze Runner' series, set 13 years before the original book.
It's full of action, all new mysteries and puzzles as well as new characters including a 7 year old Thomas from the original book.
The first book is a captivating and thrilling story which is recommended for fans of 'The Hunger Games' (If you want to read a review for the first book in the series 'The Maze Runner', Poppy has done one).
I enjoy this book because it includes so many new adventures and mysteries and troubles before life in the Glade (for those of you who know). I think it suits both boys and girls and in general is a really good book. If you enjoyed The maze runner then make sure to read 'The Kill Order' as well as the other books in the series 'The Scorch Trials' and 'The Death Cure'. Also the movie for The Maze Runner was released in the holidays and I definitely recommend it!

CHERUB
The CHERUB series is based on kids who are undercover agents, sent to do various missions around the world. The reason being, adults never suspect that children are spying on them. - CHERUB Book
The CHERUB books are an amazing series, packed with adventure, action and mystery. James is a regular 12 year old boy, who goes to school, has normal friends, a mum and a sister. Until one night his mother dies and everything changes. He sister is taken away and James is sent to an orphanage. Unable to see his sister, James is miserable and regularly gets into trouble. After being caught by the police, he is recruited as a CHERUB agent.
After reading the first book, I was hooked and couldn't stop reading. I highly recommend this to anyone (boys and girls) who likes action and adventure. The only thing I would like to mention before you dive into this series is, that there are a few disturbing/inappropriate and contains a few "scenes". So unless you avoid books like that, by all means, READ AWAY!
The first booked is called: The Recruit,
and in the back of the book it shows you the rest of the series.

ABC with Honora Lee
I recommend this book because it is a quick read but is really worth it. The main character is called Perry and her Gran has dementia. Perry’s mother and father are busy people … they’re impatient, they’re tired, they get cross easily. And they think that only children, like Perry, should be kept busy. On Saturday mornings Perry and her father visit her gran, Honora Lee, at the Santa Lucia rest home, but Gran never remembers them. ‘Who is that man?’ Honora Lee asks when Perry’s father leaves the room. After movement class is abruptly cancelled, Perry is allowed to go to Santa Lucia on Thursday afternoons. She discovers her Gran has an unconventional interest in the alphabet, so Perry decides to make an alphabet book with the help of Honora and the others. Soon everyone is interested in Perry’s book project. A quick but worth-while book. :-)
